Terms of service

Born is a workspace for brands and the agencies they work with. It stores what a brand knows, helps write briefs, runs agency pitches, manages projects and asset reviews, and learns from results. Some parts use AI models to draft, search and check; what they produce is a suggestion for you to use or ignore.

• You give accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• A brand admin decides who joins the team, and can remove people at any time.
• Agencies only ever see what a brand shares with them: the briefs sent to them, the projects they're part of, and material the brand has marked shareable.

Everything you put into Born - files, briefs, comments, results - stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Born for you: to show it to the people you choose, to search it, and to send it to the outside services listed on the outside services page for the job each one does.

We don't sell your content, use it to advertise, or show one brand's material to another. The AI providers we use don't train their models on it.

Text and suggestions Born writes for you are yours to use as you like. AI can be wrong: check anything important before you rely on it or send it out.

You agree not to:

• upload anything you don't have the right to use, or anything unlawful, harmful or malicious
• try to reach another organization's data, test Born's security without our written permission, or get around its limits
• resell Born, or use it to build a competing product

Born has usage limits to keep it fast and costs predictable; we'll tell you before a limit affects your work.

Fees, if any, are agreed in writing with your organization (an order form or invoice). Agencies invited by a brand use Born free of charge.

We work to keep Born running and your data safe, but can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change Born; if a change takes away something you rely on, we'll tell you in advance.

• You can stop using Born at any time. A brand admin can download everything the organization has in Born from Settings.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can.
• After an account ends we delete its data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

Born is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the data processing agreement applies as part of these terms.
